❓ FAQ
1. Will this tool work with my vehicle?
The EL-50448 is designed for most GM vehicles from 2006–2025 that use 315/433 MHz internal OEM TPMS sensors. It does not support heavy trucks with more than 4 tires or vehicles with external/add-on TPMS systems. Please check your owner’s manual or TPMS specifications if you are unsure.
2. Do I need a battery, and is it included?
The tool requires a standard 9V battery to operate. For safety during shipping, the battery is not included, so please prepare one before first use.
3. How do I use it after installing new sensors or rotating tires?
First put your vehicle into TPMS Learn Mode (refer to your owner’s manual). Then start at the left front wheel, hold the tool by the valve stem, and press the button until the horn beeps. Repeat for the right front, right rear, and left rear wheels. When the horn beeps twice, the reset is complete.
4. Can I use this tool on non-GM vehicles?
No, this model is specifically programmed for GM TPMS protocols. It is not recommended for other brands unless they explicitly support the EL-50448 standard.
5. The tool does not seem to activate the sensor. What should I check?
Make sure the vehicle is correctly in TPMS Learn Mode, the 9V battery inside the tool is fresh, and you are holding the device close to the tire sidewall near the valve stem at a right angle. If the red LOWBAT light is on, replace the battery before trying again.
